What a gravity puzzle actually is

In most puzzle games you move a piece. In Gravity Station you move the rule. Pick up, down, left or right, and every loose object in the chamber slides that way until a wall, the hull or another piece stops it. Nothing halts halfway. Nothing moves independently.

That single constraint is what makes the game hard. A chamber with five pieces has only four possible moves — and most of them make the board worse. Solving one is about finding the order in which pieces have to be stacked against each other, not about dexterity or speed.

Then the station starts helping less

Laser grids cut lanes across the board and end the run if a core crosses one. Portals move a piece from one side to the other while it is still travelling. Wormholes drop something where the direction alone could never take it. Black holes remove whatever slides in — and occasionally that is exactly what the solution needs.
